Russell loves target shooting as a hobby. Russell believes that the Lord led him to FFL, and strongly supports this ministry and the outreach to the mission field.

GLORIA WOOD came to Canada from Mexico in 1974. Her native language is Spanish; she is also fluent in English. Gloria made Jesus the Lord of her life in 1977. She enjoys reading, walking, biking, and swimming. She also enjoys target shooting with her husband. While at work one day, DIANE WADDELL met a lady who shared her passion for shoes. Now this lady had an even greater passion for Jesus which attracted Diane. After this lady led Diane to the Lord, she was introduced to FFL. At a study group using the FFL series, Diane learned that it was not her good works that would qualify her for Heaven, but only the blood of Jesus. The simplicity, depth, and clarity of the FFL materials made Diane want to be a part of the ministry. Diane also enjoys crafting and tending a « fairy garden » for her grandchildren. She’s also very keen on health and nutrition.

GWEN REESE gave her life to the Lord as a teenager and felt the call of God on her life to serve Him in her final year of high school. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Religious Studies and has taught in Bible colleges in Canada and the US. She also served with her late husband in pastoral ministry. It was while she was serving as a pastor of church ministry that she was introduced to the FFL discipleship series. She used it in her Bible study groups and found it to be very helpful in discipling new believers. Gwen joined the Board of FFL several years ago, and is delighted to be part of a ministry that God has been using around the world. Gwen is on the faculty of Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, BC and also serves as Board Chair for the Canadian Mission to Unreached Peoples Society. Gwen has one married daughter and three grandchildren.
